[Trouble] Chapter 3 - Returning to hometown

A few feathers of white and black falls around the area of that abandoned mansion, and two baby’s crying can be heard from inside of the mansion. Some people who passed through that mansion just looked at the mansion, thinking that they might have misheard it.

The reason as to why no one come to check is because the mansion history, where there are a lot of ghost that are said to be sighted by the people who tried to explore the mansion, which scared the people whom are living in the area. It is also said that the mansion has a curse, which proved why people who came to disturb the mansion peacefulness are then faced with few misfortune.

Juniel looked at the mansion as he and Shinai land on the roof. He wiped his sweat away and smiled a bit, taking a few breathe. This is because they finally catch up to where Riz is and it really took quite a lot of effort to find Riz trails, “This is where the last trace of him is.”

“So he must be inside then.” Shinai nods and she went to the balcony. Seeing that the balcony is not locked, she opened and enter with caution. She look around as she walk as quiet as possible, to not alert Riz, and she mumble as she walk, setting a barrier to ensure that he cannot escape again.

“Shinai, this is weird, those babies he is carrying is crying… and he does not move from the same spot for quite a long time…” Juniel said as he also enter, and follow Shinai. “I’ll go check at the first floor.” He added as shinai just nods as an okay.

And so, Juniel went to the first floor, though he stop and hide when he hear someone else enter through the front door, soon after he hear sound of things clatter and a mid-aged woman and man seems to talk about something.

“Honey, i-i-its riz!” Lyla rushed to where Riz is, and lift him, though Riz was unconscious, while Lyla hugs riz with teary eyes, she was shocked because he looked exactly like her dead son, but he look much older than before. Her shaking hand move and pats Riz hair gently.

“It might not be Riz...” Fuz pats Lyla shoulder, “It might be someone who looked like him, because our son die three year ago...” He said while looking down, though he then noticed the two babies, who stopped crying when they came in.

“Who?” Juniel mumble as he continued to watch them from a distance, “And Valence shrink back?” he looked more and frowned, he felt that something is not right, while he be careful. Later Shinai arrived behind Juniel.

“Those middle aged man and woman seems to be his parents.” Shinai peeked along with Juniel, “And they look rather rich too. The lady seem to especially care about him.” She smile and sighed a bit, “well I think, it is safe to leave him to them.”

“Hey? Are you sure?” Juniel looked at Shinai, he did not expect for her to easily allow Riz go. “This very unlike you, Shinai. You aren’t the type to leave your target like this, and even suggesting to leave him to those unknown people... is really unexpected.” 

“Wha- Hey! I’m a woman too, so I can... Well, quite understand how that lady feels, and I definitely am not planning anything, okay? I’m not that evil.” Shinai cross arm and she puff cheek again, unsatisfied for that statement.

“Heh... A woman.” Juniel look away, as if mocking her a bit, so Shinai frowned and go pinch his cheek, “Ow ow..! That hurts… I’m wrong I’m wrong, so please stop pinching me.”

“Humph! Serve you right.” Shinai puff cheek more and then they can soon see the lady and man bring Riz and the babies out. Shinai are not worrying because earlier when they caught Riz, Juniel make sure to put a tracker on Riz by using his own power. He make sure that the tracker was put in a hidden location so that it will not be found out.

Meanwhile at Lyla and Fuz home, Fuz carried and put him at a room for guest despite Lyla telling him to put Riz in their son’s room. Lyla went feed the babies since the babies seemed really hungry and thin. Fuz watch over Riz by staying next to the bed for the whole night, even though he still does not believe that Riz is his son, he still are somehow glad that he is back. Though Lyla was also overjoy for being able to adopt two more kids.

On the next day, Riz woke up. However he refuse to eat anything at all, and after a few weeks passed, he started to look thinner and pale. Lyla and Fuz became worried about him and tried to talk to him, but Riz never show much response to what they talked about.

Fuz has already confirmed that Riz was indeed their son, their one and only son. He took a small bottle of Riz blood when Riz was sleeping and also some of Lyla blood too. He then went to the biggest hospital in the town where he is working at, and do a DNA test. 

The result of the test showed that Riz’s blood and both Lyla and Fuz blood are a 100 percent match, which actually shocked Fuz so much. However, when he returned home he sat on the sofa in the living room in silence, thinking a lot of stuff. However after a long time thinking, he stood up and went into the kitchen where Lyla is currently cooking.

Fuz hugs Lyla, and Lyla can see that his hands are trembling so she smile and pats his hands as a way to comfort him, “Honey… It is really our son, right?” She asked with a happy smile, yet tears still come down, dropping from her chin down to the floor as she turned off the fire and cried into Fuz arm.

And so that night, Fuz as usual sat in front of Riz, he tried to talk to Riz like every day. “Hey, what is wrong?” Fuz asked as he hold one of Riz hand, “What happen to you…”

Though Riz just stared straight, as if he was not there, as if his mind was empty, like a doll. His eyes looked dull and his heartbeat are small. Fuz checked on Riz pulse, Riz retina, and even his pain sensor, however there was no sign of any response from Riz.

More days passed, and since Riz are not responding [Riz.exe is not responding lol], Fuz and Lyla has to forcefully feed him in order to make sure that he is receiving enough nutrient and his life is not threatened. Since they cannot feed him something solid, all they can currently feed him are just porridge and fruit juices.

…Until a burglar incident on one day.

“Wow damn this house is so easy to break in..!” said one suspicious person, wearing all black with their face being covered by a see-able fabric. He put back his tool that he used to pick on the lock which grinning.

“Yeah dude, damn stupid for using a lame old lock. Hah.” Replied his accomplice, as they then sneak through the house and took any of valuable items that can be found in the house. And then when they enter a room, where Damian and Angela was sleeping, they could not help but look and stare at the two babies.

“Ey, think we can sell off this two to those human trafficker? I bet they’d be able to fetch a super high price..!” Asked the accomplice with a sparkle in his eyes, feeling greedy.

“Yea. Let’s take them too.” He agreed, however they weren’t that lucky because the two baby awoke when they are lifting them, he look at the two babies, “See how big their eyes are, these are definitely high class genetic so they must be very pretty when they grow up. Wow” he mumble. Upon hearing that, Damian and Angela started to cry loudly, and their crying alerted Fuz and Lyla.

However when Fuz and Lyla arrived at the room, Riz was already there, the burglar was on floor, somehow unconscious with the room in a mess, but the two babies are safe in Riz arm. Fuz and Lyla was shocked since Riz has never move from his own bed ever since he was awake.

“Riz…?” Lyla called Riz name and went to Riz to check him, meanwhile Fuz go quickly and tie up those burglar. He can see that the burglar have been beaten badly, that even their face is unrecognizable. Which make Fuz raised his eyebrow and turned to look at Riz after he finish tying them.

“m..mother..” Riz looked up at Lyla slowly, and he has a very gentle eyes. Lyla with tears, runs to him and hugs him firmly as she cried.

“Mother... father... Riz was scared…” Riz said while he show a smile to his parents, “Those people tried to take Angela and Damian away…” he said and then snuggle Angela and Damian, he seems like he is not going to let them go.

“It’s okay now Riz, they won’t be able to take them away... And we’ll be here whenever you feel scared…” Fuz said he pats Riz to comfort him from being scared. However he did not notice that Riz are not even feeling afraid, he looked really calm and he just smile as his parents bring him back to his room as they then go check the door and decided to change the door lock to a new and proper one.

Shinai whom are watching from above the clouds, watched with doubt, “Hey, Juniel.” She turn and look at Juniel who was eating a fluffy looking cake, it seems to be a cheese cake, that he go buy from the town not far from their location, and he is eating with delight, “Wha.. Juniel..!” she smack him with angrily.

“Uh? W-what?” Juniel was startled and look at her, though he is glad that his cake is safe from falling. “Uh, I was eating you know, that’s kind of rude... And you even hit my head…” 

“Didn’t you see what he did? His action?” Shinai crossed her arm and leans to his shoulder, “He definitely is valence now, and else how can he have such power? To bring down two adult when he is just a child?” she said with such serious face, feeling more doubtful.

Juniel eats more and said “Well, that’s definitely aren’t the strength of a child.” He lick his finger to clean up some of the cream that stick at his finger when he ate, “It is him, because we did follow him from even before he was born. It’s just whether he regains back what he lost or not.”

“Ah! Then we need to take him back then!” Shinai look at him with a serious expression that make her frown again, while Juniel chuckle a bit and shook his head.

“Shinai, you are too strict, we can just watch him, and there is no need to take any action yet.” He smile, and kissed her nose, which caught her by surprise. Shinai blushes and look away with puffed cheek, couldn’t fight him back. “Plus didn’t you said that you are fine leaving him to his parents earlier? Are you taking back what you said? Hm?”

“No… I’m just worried that someone might have some bad intention for him…” Shinai said with a bit sigh and shook her heads a bit. “That will be a disaster… If it really happens”. 

On the other hand, “Don’t worry, we are here after all.” Juniel said with a bit chuckle and then he continue to eat while Shinai nods and continue to watch.

And later the police arrived after Riz parent called them and the two burglars was arrested and bought away to the police station for some interrogation and also to lock them up, while Riz was already sleeping with Angela and Damian in his own room.

And the next morning his parents decided that they need to spend their time with each other so that they can strengthen the bond as a family, so they all went for a picnic all together. The babies look around, they had never seen such a beautiful and calm scenery, Riz plays with then with smile and his parents chatted with him and Riz reply to them properly.

“Oh yeah Riz, soon you are going to be a middle schooler, do you want to go to any of the prestige school? Father can help refer you to the school.” Fuz asked with a smile and offered the some of the sandwich to Riz while he himself are eating one.

“Mn, no father. Its okay, I’ll just go to the usual school… I’m fine with that” Riz said as he shook his head with smile, “Riz... Don’t want to go to somewhere far… Staying here is okay.” he added and took one of the sandwich that his father offer.

“Oh is that so? Okay then, father won’t force you” Fuz smile and ruffles Riz hair. Angela and Damian holding his finger with such cute smile and laughing happily with sparkle in their eyes.

[Trouble] Chapter 2 - Exploring lead to the chase

Riz walked around the town which are full of winged people, however Riz have a pair of fluffy ear and a fluffy tail, swinging slowly to the left and right. Due to that he covered himself with black cloak which the person with the mask gave.

Currently Riz noticed that there is a baby with a pair of black wing on a tower veranda. The baby was crying, he seemed hungry and alone at the top of the roof. However the other people seems to simply ignore the baby’s crying, even though some of them seemed like they wanted to go help the baby.

“See that, they… Abandoned the baby, just because it was born with a pair of black wings.” The masked person said with grin, Riz stopped walking and kept looking at where the baby were, from the sky he can see clearly the baby and the surrounding people.

“Why..? Aren’t he also got wings just like them..?” Riz asked, his eyebrow furrow.

“It was because the baby is said to be a demon. These angels are going to let him die all because his wings are black.” He answer with more malicious grins, he licked his lips thinking of how great it would be if he can consume such negativity.

“That is… Such cruelty...” Riz said as just when he was going to go to the baby, the scenery changed, the surrounding become a dessert like place, with chilly winds blowing, and the place seems rather dim. “W-Wha? Where now?” Riz looked around.

“Ah~ the previous world is the world of angels, where they live under the light of god’s protection, inside heaven. On the other hand, this one of the kingdom in hell, where demons and devils live.” He said as he pats Riz with a smile.

“Why are we here..? What are you intending to do..?” Riz sounds nervous though and glances at the man. The masked man chuckles hearing that.

“You will see... As we walk into their town.” He started walking as Riz followed him. He can hear loud monstrous sounds from far away. He frowned again, since this place give off such an uncomfortable aura, and he feels like something is watching him from somewhere.

“When will we leave?” Riz ask while being more vigilant to the surrounding, he walk faster and closer to the masked man.

“What? Scared? Heh…” he grins and leads him to the town, though when they enter the town, the town feels as if it weren’t in good shape, as if there is chaos stirring around. Riz can see so many distorted monsters with weird appearances and some looked just like the angels, like an angel except they have a black wings instead of white.

Again he saw another baby, but this time the baby have pure white wings, however it seems like they are going to kill the baby, Riz walks towards them fast, intending to stop them, but the masked man stopped him, “Ha… Think you can save them with how you are now?”

Riz looked at him, gritting his teeth, “They are going to kill the baby soon!” Riz said as he looked at the baby, ready to rush toward the baby.

“Heh, acting like a hero?” The masked man said as he pushed Riz to the ground, however Riz seemed to fall into something dark, something deep, as everything around him turned to black without any single light.

“You... Aren’t worthy... to be me.” The masked man voice whispers to Riz ear as he disappear with resounding laugh, and Riz body started to feel the burning pain again. Riz struggled with a gasp, and he felt weak, his body feel numb, and he can hardly feel if his hand or leg is moving or not.

Then he hear the sound of two babies crying. “No... They... are..!” Riz said while panting, trying to keep his consciences from disappearing too. And he noticed, something is very warm inside his heart, and it is pumping fast, and feels like his heart is going burst soon. It was very painful, he felt like he wanted to dig and take out his heart. 

“Va..lence..!” He heard someone calling this one name, which make him feel like something inside cracked and thus explode right after hearing that. He then feel like something sprout out and grows from his back, and his hair seems to grow longer.

The darkness soon disperse into nothingness, and Riz stood up, and fly fast, toward the baby which has been put below the execution knife, just a few seconds before the knife cut the baby head off, Riz grab the baby away, knocked the execution knife up, a few drop of blood dripping down his hand due to the impact of knocking the heavy execution knife. However he now had saved the baby and fly up high in the sky while glancing down on the uproar.

The devils and demons roar in anger, because he saved the baby, and they chases him to the sky, and attacked Riz, some of those that cannot fly, they throw the items around them with huge momentum toward Riz in order to shot him down. However Riz soon disappear into the sky where a small hole opened, when a huge fireball almost hit him and the baby.

Riz blue eyes looked at the baby, as he carry the baby with care and gentleness. He pats and kissed the baby forehead with a slight smile as he then disappeared again. This Riz seemed as if he was not who he is before. Then they appear at the sky of the angel world, and Riz slowly descent toward the other baby which was surrounded by the crows.

He shoo the crows using his wings, and with a smile as he picks up the baby slowly, “Both of you... are mine…” He mumbled quietly with another smile, and kissed the two babies forehead twice. 

The baby that was picked up from hell have a beautiful snowy white hair with a pair of cute white wings, though her eyes was the colour of a bright red, if one looks into her eyes they may feel as if they are losing their mind and may behave unruly. While the baby from heaven have a hair which are as dark as the night, combined with an elegant small black wing, and completed with a pair of deep light blue eyes, showing his purity.

The angels looked at Riz with a gasp, unsure as to what they should do since he saved the baby which they abandon to death. Because of that, Riz glared at all of them, for doing so and he flaps open his wings.

While Juniel and Shinai had finally arrived at heaven, where Riz is currently at, and coincidentally they appeared just 2 meters away from where Riz is. They can see that Riz short blue hair has grown long up to his arm, the pair of fluffy ear on his head and his tail are gone, and on his back there is a pair of white wings with some of its feathers are of the colour of gold and few are coloured as greyish black.

“Valence? He already awaken to that form?!” Shinai fly toward Riz as fast as she can, however Riz fly away when he saw her coming closer, keeping distance from anyone that are trying to get close to him and the two babies.

Though Juniel was much faster compared to Riz and Shinai speed, because he easily appear behind Riz as if he teleported right behind him, and successfully caught him in a short time. Riz glared at Juniel. 

“Release me.” He said with a low tone, indicating that he will act aggressively if Juniel do not release him soon.

“No, Valence. It was our job to ensure that you stay in your room at all time.” Juniel replied, however Riz struggled and tried to flap open his wings in an attempt to fly away. However it was all in vain as Juniel has a strong grip and high endurance. “Stop this, it is useless to struggle, Valence.” Juniel said as an attempt to calm him down.

“Hey Juniel, Valence doesn’t seem like he... recognize us.” Shinai said after she observed Riz reaction and also his behaviour. She then fly closer to Riz and put her hands on Riz cheeks to stop him from looking away.

“How so? Isn’t he always like this?” Juniel said while raise his eyebrow up, and he looked at Shinai and then at Riz, “He always tried to run away either way no matter the reason... So I don’t see any difference.”

“Well, he doesn’t even shout our name when he saw us.” Shinai stare into Riz eyes, as Riz attempt to keep a distance from Shinai by leaning back, and also along with that he did try to escape again despite the useless efforts.

“Well then, I will release you if you said your name.” Juniel said with a smile, using this as a test to see if what Shinai said is true or not, “I promise I will release you.” He added, as a bait for Riz and now he wait with a smile. 

“I... am... Riz..zer…” Riz answered as he glared at Juniel and struggled again.

“AH! He really… Don’t remember us..! Did something happen do his memories?” Shinai blink twice, “Then all the more we need to bring him back... So I’m sorry but I need to do this then.” She said with a smile as she leans closer to Riz, and instantly without Riz able to evade, she kissed him on the lips, while holding his cheek more.

Since Shinai is famous as the god of beauty, she can easily make any man weak with a simple kiss. Shinai keep on the kiss as she caress Riz cheek slowly, while Riz slowly feel muddleheaded and his eyelids slowly going down, his struggle also decrease.

Juniel can feel that Riz resistance and strength was reduced by more than half, where eventually Riz struggle stop, weaken by Shinai act of kissing. So they then fly away, leaving the town with Riz in his weaken state, almost fallen asleep. Shinai making sure that she is close to Riz as they left. “I’ll go open the portal soon after this, Juniel.”

“Alright.” Juniel answered as he loosen up, and he now carry Riz to where they will warp back to that room. “I wonder if I sing a lullaby, will this guy fall asleep?” he mumble while look down at Riz in his arm, and shook with a laugh, “I doubt that, with my coarse voice, I bet he won’t be able to sleep instead.”

The two babies looked up and they can see how Riz is, where Riz now had starting to nod off. They blink twice and look at each other, as if they can understand they then called to the sleepy Riz, “pa..pa..” Their voice as if having a trigger, makes Riz mind fresh and awake, which allow him to regain his strength again.

“Oh no!” Shinai who was just finish opening a warp portal, fly to Riz as fast, but it was too late as Riz used his wings to pushed Juniel away, and flaps his wings then fly up with speed after freeing himself, and disappeared along with the two babies that he carries.

“Ah.” Juniel scratch his head a bit, “Uh, we lost him again huh.” 

“W-whose fault you think this is?!” Shinai seems angry as she puffed her cheek and cross her arms, giving a deadly glare to Juniel. “It is already hard enough to catch him, and now we have to find him again? Gosh..!” she grumble.

“I really didn’t think that he was able to break free from your power...” Juniel sigh and smile a bit, feeling only slight guilty, “Ah… I admit that it was my mistake for this time.”

“Idiot Juniel..!” shinai huff cheek more and looks away with a frown.

Riz appeared and fall in an unfamiliar place. They were in an old abandoned mansion, the mansion are full with wild moss and grass that grow after a long time being left empty. He pats the two babies, “Names will be Angela... Damian...” He said, casually gave them a name each, and then kiss their forehead with smile.

The two babies hold his fingers, their eyes sparkles as they look up to him showing that they liked the name given to them. Though Riz, lose all his strength as he fall to the ground but still keeping them close to him, and then soon lose his conscious. 

His grown hair shorten to his shoulder, and the pair of wings turns into light particles, floating all around them, and glow a warm light, giving a comfortable warmth to the three of them.

“Pa…” The two babies called for him, the white haired baby pull Riz hand and tried to bite his finger to wake him up. While the black haired baby shake Riz hand and pulled on them. They frowned and seeing no response from him, they then cried loudly.
